At Wildes, we bring together handpicked wines, a great beer selection, and cocktails worth lingering over. It's a space designed for long afternoons, date nights, and proper catch ups, with a late night buzz when the music turns up.
Right now it's drinks only. The kitchen's closed for a short while as we bring in a new team of chefs and build a brand new menu, and we can't wait to show you. Until then, pull up a stool at the bar or a seat in the garden.

Christmas at Wildes
Roasts with all the trimmings, a digestif to finish, and a table full of your favourite people. Bring a few of you, or take the front room for a party of up to 30.
Then stay on. There's a DJ every Friday in December and live music every Saturday.

Cocktails, wine, champagne and beer, straight from the bar. Food's on pause for a little while, and a brand new menu is on its way.

The kitchen's closed while it all comes together, but the bar's open as usual, seven days a week. Come for the cocktails, stay for the live music, and be first in line when the new menu lands.
Signature Cocktails
Vesper Martini
Grey Goose Le Citron, gin and Lillet Blanc. A crisp, citrus-forward twist on the Bond classic.
Wildes & Whimsey Sour
Monkey Shoulder whisky, amaretto, bitters and lemon. Bold and smooth.
Spiced Mint Fizz
Seven Tails Spiced, lime juice, mint, soda and a dash of Angostura. Fresh and herbal, with a bit of warmth.

Just Walk In
Table bookings are paused while the kitchen's closed. The bar, the tables and the garden are all first come, first served, so just turn up.
Groups are walk-in too, and the garden can never be reserved. If you're organising something, ring us or email hello@wildes-bar.co.uk and we'll talk it through.

FRIDAY - BACK TO THE 70s 🪩 We're taking it back to where it all began - 50 years of Wildes as a bar. Think 70s-inspired cocktails, throwback food specials, disco energy and live music throughout the evening. Dress for the decade, stay for the party. SATURDAY - WORST DECISION 🥃 The theme? Come dressed as your worst decision. Whether that's the haircut, the ex, the tattoo, the questionable outfit or something we're probably better off not asking about... Expect birthday chaos, Worst Decision shots at midnight and DJ Ben taking us through the night. SUNDAY - THE RECOVERY ROAST 🍅 You've survived the weekend. Now come and recover properly. A big Sunday roast, live music from 3:30–5:30pm and 2-for-1 Bloody Marys & Virgin Marys to ease you back into civilisation.
